UNH spring football game


Coach Sean McDonnell’s University of New Hampshire Wildcats will play their first two home games at 6 p.m.

The University of New Hampshire football team will open the home part of its 2019 schedule with a pair of night games, it was announced on Monday.

After playing two non-league games on the road, the Wildcats will open their Colonial Athletic Association on Saturday, Sept. 21, against Rhode Island. The following Saturday, Sept. 28, coach Sean McDonnell’s team will host Duquesne in a non-leaguer. Both games at Wildcat Stadium will start at 6 p.m.

New Hampshire’s remaining home games will kick off in the afternoon: Saturday, Oct. 5, against Elon (3:30 p.m.); Saturday, Nov. 2, against Villanova (1 p.m.) and Saturday, Nov. 23, against rival Maine (1 p.m.). The Maine game is the regular-season finale.
