The New Hampshire Fisher Cats’ bats were relatively quiet in a 7-1 Eastern League loss to the Hartford Yard Goats in a series finale on Sunday at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium in Manchester.

The one Fisher Cats bat that wasn’t quiet belonged to Brock Lundquist, who collected two doubles, knocking in the team’s lone run in the fourth inning. New Hampshire finished with five hits.

Rico Garcia (3-0) earned the victory for Hartford, permitting three hits over seven innings with no walks and seven strikeouts. Zach Logue (2-2) took the loss.

The Fisher Cats have Monday off before opening a three-game series at Portland on Tuesday night. The Sea Dogs split a doubleheader on Sunday, with the rehabbing Dustin Pedroia going 0-for-2 in five innings of work in the opener. Pedroia is slated to remain with the Sea Dogs at least through Tuesday.
