Jake Fishman and Kirby Snead combined on 4 1/3 innings of scoreless relief, leading the New Hampshire Fisher Cats to a 4-2 victory over the host Hartford Yard Goats on Friday night.

Each reliever allowed one hit. Fishman (1-0), working in relief of starter Zach Logue, got the win. Snead worked the eighth and ninth innings for his second save.

New Hampshire scored three runs in the second inning. Vinny Capra and Kacy Clemens delivered RBI singles, and a passed ball allowed Chad Spanberger (single) to score from third for the final run of the inning.

The Fisher Cats added a run in the fifth on Albert Mineo's RBI double that chased home Kevin Smith (single).

The teams play again tonight in Hartford.
