The New Hampshire Fisher Cats cracked a season-high 18 hits and routed the Portland Sea Dogs 10-1 in an Eastern League contest on Sunday at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium in Manchester.

Riley Adams clubbed a three-run homer and starter Thomas Hatch worked six effective innings to earn his first win in four decisions. Hatch allowed the lone Portland run and gave up three hits while striking out five and walking one.

Adams, who also rapped a single, had plenty of company in the hit parade. Seven Fisher Cats collected at least two hits, led by Cullen Large (double, two singles), Christian Williams (three singles) and Chad Spanberger (three singles). Kevin Smith added a three-run double and single.

Before the game, Toronto’s No. 2 prospect, right-hander Nate Pearson, was promoted to Triple-A Buffalo.

The Fisher Cats begin a three-game series tonight in Trenton.
