The New Hampshire Fisher Cats hit three homers, two by Kevin Smith, in a 4-2 win over the Hartford Yard Goats on Friday night in Hartford, Conn. It was New Hampshire's fourth straight win.

The teams continue their series Saturday at 6:05 p.m.

The Fisher Cats (9-13, second half) took a 3-0 lead in the second on a Riley Adams homer, his fifth, and a two-run shot by Smith. Smith homered again, his 10th of the year, in the fourth.

Alan Trejo hit a solo homer for Hartford (9-12, second half) in the second, and Colton Welker scored on a wild pitch in the third for the Hartford runs.

Yennsy Diaz (8-6) earned the win for New Hampshire with five innings of six-hit, two-run ball. Danny Young struck out three while walking one and allowing a hit for his second save. Jack Wynkoop (6-10) took the loss for Hartford.
