The New Hampshire Fisher Cats were on the short end of a pitching-dominated game, losing to the Yard Goats 3-2 in Eastern League action on Sunday afternoon in Hartford, Conn.

The Fisher Cats managed eight hits against three Hartford pitchers. Logan Cozart pitched perfect ball over the final two innings to earn his first save. Ashton Goudreau worked the first six innings to earn the win and even his record at 1-1.

Andrew Sopko (0-2), who pitched the first five innings and allowed all three Hartford runs was tagged with the loss.

New Hampshire scored once in the first, on a Kacy Clemens sacrifice fly, and once more in the seventh, on Brandon Grudzielanek’s RBI single.

The Fisher Cats begin a three-game series in Binghamton tonight.
