The New Hampshire Fisher Cats were held to five hits in a 5-4 loss at Portland on Friday night in Eastern League action.

Three of those hits were homers, the final one a two-run blast by Riley Adams with two outs in the ninth. Chad Spanberger and Josh Palacios added the other homers, both solo shots.

Brett Netzer and Austin Rei homered for Portland.

Denyi Reyes (8-12) earned the win for the Sea Dogs, pitching seven innings of three-hit ball. He allowed the two solo homers.

The teams continue their season-ending series Saturday at 6 p.m.
