Mandy Alvarez led off the 11th inning with an RBI double, breaking a tie and helping the Trenton Thunder to a 6-4 victory over the New Hampshire Fisher Cats in an Eastern League game on Friday night at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium in Manchester.

Zack Zehner added a sacrifice fly for an insurance run as the Thunder won the opener of a weekend series. The teams play again tonight at 6:35 p.m.

Bryan Baker (2-5) pitched the 11th and took the loss for the Fisher Cats.

Riley Adams and Brock Lundquist had a pair of singles each in New Hampshire's 10-hit attack. The Thunder had 11 hits.
