It was a night to forget for the New Hampshire Fisher Cats and starting pitcher Patrick Murphy.

In Tuesday's opener of a road trip, Murphy was tagged for seven runs (all earned) on seven hits in the Harrisburg Senators' 8-4 Eastern League victory. The game was called in the bottom of the seventh inning due to rain.

Murphy (3-5) walked four and fanned four over 4 2/3 innings. The last pitch he threw, in the fifth inning, was struck by Ian Sagdal for a three-run homer, breaking a 4-4 tie.

New Hampshire's Alberto Mineo had tied the game in the top of the inning with a three-run homer.

The Fisher Cats' Forrest Wall singled twice to extend his hitting streak to nine games. Before the game, New Hampshire's Patrick Kivlehan, who had five hits including a homer on Monday, was promoted to Triple-A Buffalo.

The teams continue their series today at 6:30 p.m.
