Gabriel Moreno had three hits and scored three runs, and Chavez Young drove in three runs and was one of six New Hampshire players with with at least two hits as the Fisher Cats won their season opener, 11-2, over the host Portland Sea Dogs on Tuesday.

Austin Martin, Otto Lopez, Demi Orimoloye and Kevin Vicuna also had multi-hit games for New Hampshire, which banged out 16 hits off six different Portland pitchers.

Zach Logue started for NH and tossed five scoreless innings, striking out five and walking one while scattering four hits. Brody Rodning, Fitz Stadler and Emerson Jimenez finished up in relief.

Jeisson Rosario and Triston Casas each had two hits and drove in a run apiece for Portland. Andrew Politi started for the Sea Dogs and took the loss.
