The Harrisburg Senators became the first team to earn a series sweep over the New Hampshire Fisher Cats since 2017 on Thursday, when it earned a 5-1 victory at FNB Field In Harrisburg, Pa. 

Harrisburg also defeated the Fisher Cats, 8-4, on Tuesday and 5-4 on Wednesday.

The Senators (34-19) led, 3-0, over the first two innings and plated two more runs in the fifth inning. New Hampshire (23-28) grabbed its lone run in the eighth inning, when Nash Knight was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded and one out.

New Hampshire starting pitcher Nate Pearson (0-1) pitched 4 2/3 innings, allowing five earned runs on seven hits and two walks alongside five strikeouts. Reliever Willy Ortiz allowed one hit and struck out two over 3 1/3 innings.

Fisher Cats leadoff batter Forrest Wall went 3-for-4 to extend his hitting streak to 11 games. Teammate Riley Adams went 3-for-5 and has hit in nine straight games.
