Starter Zach Logue limited the host Hartford Yard Goats to two runs over 6 1/3 innings to help the New Hampshire Fisher Cats to a 4-2 victory on Friday night.

Logue limited the Yard Goats to six hits in improving to 3-2. He walked two and fanned six. Jackson McClelland pitched 1 2/3 innings of scoreless middle relief and Bryan Baker hurled a perfect ninth inning for his second save.

Kevin Smith and Chad Spanberger hit solo homers for the Fisher Cats. Brock Lundquist tripled and scored on Smith's sacrifice fly in the seventh inning, which proved to be the winning run.

The teams play again in Hartford on Saturday at 6:05 p.m.
