The New Hampshire Fisher Cats scored seven runs in the third inning -- all with two outs -- and went on to a 9-1 win over the Reading Fightin Phils in an Eastern League game on Thursday night at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium in Manchester.

The Fisher Cats sent 10 men to the plate in the third, stringing together five hits and two walks. The capper was Forrest Wall's two-run homer, scoring Logan Warmoth, who earlier had a two-run double.

Wall, Warmoth, Nash Knight and Vinny Capra all finished with two hits in New Hampshire's 12-hit attack.

Starter Justin Dillon (3-2) earned the win, going six shutout innings. He allowed four hits and three walks, and fanned six.

The teams play again tonight at 7 p.m.
