Derryfield Country Club’s Tara Watt won the New Hampshire Golf Association Women’s Mid-Amateur Championship for the second straight year by shooting a 4-over-par 76 Friday at the Country Club of New Hampshire.

Paige Macleay, a member at Eastman Golf Links, finished second, two shots behind Watt.

Watt trailed Macleay by two strokes with eight holes to play before mounting a comeback.

The tournament was scheduled for 36 holes, but was shortened to 18 after Thursday’s rain canceled the first round.

Windham Country Club’s Stacey Freda won the net-score portion of the event with a net score of 75.

Freda made three birdies on the back nine to post a 1-stroke victory.
