The Exeter High unified basketball team captured its third consecutive state title in Saturday’s 46-29 championship game win over Berlin at UNH’s Lundholm Gymnasium. A 17-0 run in the second quarter made the difference for the Blue Hawks, who ended up allowing just two points in that second frame.

Brian Graunas Phillips scored nine of his game-high 12 points in the second quarter, where Exeter shot 8-for-18 from the field while holding Berlin to 1-for-10 shooting. Hunter Colella and Aidan Almon joined Graunas Phillips in double figures with 10 points apiece.

Berlin led 10-8 after one quarter before making just eight shots over the final three frames. Roger Belanger finished with a team-high 12 points for the Mountaineers, who have fallen to Exeter in the final each of the last three seasons.
