The Goffstown High School football team, ranked No. 9 in the Union Leader Power Poll, pitched a shutout and held Concord to 50 yards of offense in its 40-6 Division I victory over the Crimson Tide at Memorial Field in Concord on Saturday.

Grizzlies quarterback Jarrett Henault ran for two touchdowns and threw another to Peyton Strickland. Zach Picard ran in two scores and Caden Perry made two interceptions for Goffstown (3-1).

Concord (0-4) scored its lone touchdown on a 57-yard scoop-and-score fumble recovery by Jackson Tewksbury in the third quarter, which trimmed the Grizzlies lead to 19-6.

Pembroke 27, Hanover 18: In Pembroke, the Spartans (1-3) made a key late defensive stop to secure their first victory. The Spartans led 20-18 with about three minutes left when they recovered a Hanover fumble after the latter reached their 30-yard line. Pembroke led, 14-6, at halftime and 14-12 after three quarters. Seamus Murphy ran for two touchdowns and recorded an interception on defense and Gabe Schroeder made a team-high 10 tackles for the Marauders (0-4).

Epping-Newmarket 63, Inter-Lakes-Moultonborough 30: In Epping, the Blue Devils received four touchdown efforts from both Colby Bost and Jayden Towle. The former scored the first touchdown of the game on a 20-yard rush before adding three passing touchdowns. He went 11 of 15 passing for 174 yards. Towle finished with 143 yards rushing on 15 carries highlighted by a 52-yard tote that ended up in the end zone in the third quarter. Austen Thurlow, Bobby Edwards and Josh Gahara were on the receiving end of Bost’s passing scores. The Blue Devils are 1-3, Inter-Lakes-Moultonborough is 0-4.

Hillsboro-Deering/Hopkinton 25, Newport 13: In Newport, Colby Quiet ran for 152 yards and three touchdowns on 13 carries and made three catches for 78 yards. Teammate Mike Oberheim ran for a score and went 8 of 11 passing for 164 yards and threw an interception. Newport is 1-3.

Campbell 32, Laconia 8: In Litchfield, Keegan Mills rushed for 77 yards and three touchdowns to lead No. 10 Campbell (4-0). Carter Vedrani contributed an 80-yard passing touchdown to Conor Sweeney and also converted three two-point conversions, each of which came on the ground. Laconia is 2-2.

Newfound 34, Mascoma Valley 30: In Canaan, Newfound of Bristol (1-3) clinched its victory with a defensive stand. Mascoma (2-2) drove inside the Bears’ 1-yard line but the latter forced a turnover on downs with nine seconds remaining before following up with a kneel-down on the game’s final play. Rolando Sylvain ran for three touchdowns while LeRoy Flemming and Brett Pidgeon also each had a rushing score for Newfound. It was 14-14 at half.

Bishop Brady 33, Franklin 22: In Concord, Bishop Brady quarterback Pat Brust threw a touchdown and ran for another as the Giants improved to 3-1. Brady also got a rushing TD from Isaiah Robles, a receiving TD from Ismael Rivers and an interception return for a score by AJ Cipriano.

Franklin’s Jacob Beaupre scored all three touchdowns. The Tornadoes are 1-3.

Milford 63, St. Thomas 42: In Dover, Gavin Urda scored six touchdowns to lead the Spartans in a frenetic game.

Urda scored on by returning a blocked punt for a score, and on runs of 5, 58, 10, 9 and 60 yards. Caden Zalenski had a 44-yard TD run and Sean Hanrahan had two scores, from 3 and 28 yards out, for 4-0 Milford.

St. Thomas got three TD passes from Cam Paquette -- two to Adam Stewart and one to Stone Compton. Hunter Lessard had rushing TDs of 1 and 20 yards, and Will MacLean returned a kickoff for a touchdown. The Saints are 2-2.

Bedford 50, Memorial 14: On Friday in Bedford, sophomore quarterback Joseph Mikol threw three touchdown passes as the No. 2 Bulldogs cruised to 4-0. He connected on 12 of 21 passes overall for 257 yards. Tim Greene caught two passes for 72 yards and two scores and Solomon Sanchez caught seven balls for 166 yards and a score. Sanchez also rushed six times for 68 yards and a score, and Jack Grogan had a 1-yard TD run. Sean Greene threw one pass, an 83-yard TD to Joey Leary. Memorial is 1-3.

Kingswood 31, John Stark 0: On Friday in Wolfeboro, Jacob Ridenour had 81 yards on 18 carries for the Generals (1-3) in the loss. Pacey Richard had three catches for 35 yards, and Nate Tower was 4-for-7 passing for 39 yards and also had 26 yards rushing. Kingswood is 2-2.
