The Derryfield School field hockey team scored two goals in each half and received seven saves from Olivia Bollengier in a 4-2 triumph at Goffstown on Wednesday. The Cougars improved to 3-0 in Division II with the victory.
Lindsey Stagg, Charlotte Gleichauf, Maddy Brown and Kira Geddes scored for the Cougars, who led 2-1 at halftime. Stagg’s goal was her eighth in three games.
Makayla Strickulis and Shannon Gifford scored for Goffstown (1-2). Alyssa Gabbidon assisted on the Strickulis goal. Goffstown goalie Sarah Mattison made nine saves.
Windham 6, Bedford 0: In Windham, Livi Manchester, Maddie O’Hare and Kenzi Suech each scored twice to help Windham raise its Division I record to 2-0.
O’Hare also assisted on two goals. Manchester and Ryane Farrell each collected one assist. Bedford (0-1-1) trailed 3-0 at halftime.
Pinkerton 5, Manchester Memorial 1: In Manchester, Lauren Lisauskas scored twice to boost the Astros. Justine Doyle, Jess Johnson and Kate Bennett added goals. Amanda Williams had the lone Memorial goal. Khaliyah Ellis made seven saves for Pinkerton, and Carly Dedrick made 17 for Memorial.
Bedford 6, Nashua North 0: In Nashua, Mackenzie MacEachern scored three goals and assisted on another and Bedford coach Michelle Winning collected her 200th career victory. Olivia Toolin, Ellie Flynn and Ava Simunovic also scored for the Bulldogs.
Coe-Brown 1, Lebanon 0: In Lebanon, senior Jaden Boulanger scored in the 69th minute to give the Bears the victory. Samantha Troy assisted on Boulanger’s goal. Mackenzie Quick made nine saves for Coe-Brown (1-2).
Oyster River 4, Sanborn 0: In Kingston, Nathalie Pare scored three goals for the Bobcats (1-2). Sanborn has been outscored 10-0 in its three games.
Pinkerton 3, Alvirne 0: In Derry, Ella Dandrade had eight kills, 17 digs and three aces for the Astros (2-0). Nicole Valcourt notched three blocks, Lily Heywood had seven kills and Ellie Cashman had six service points. Emily Elston had seven kills and six aces for Alvirne of Hudson (0-2), which got two blocks from Abigail Parront.
Campbell 3, Nute 0: In Milton, senior Jordan Kanaley had an ace and 15 kills as Campbell opened its Division III season with a 25-9, 25-18, 25-19 victory. Senior Mallory Reczko had two aces, three kills, two digs and one block; junior Lorelei Brown finished with seven aces and four kills; and sophomore Catherine Carignan had four aces, six kills and three digs.
Hollis Brookline 3, Exeter 0: In Exeter, Kaleigh Whalen had 10 kills and Sammie Sheppard finished with 11 digs as the Cavaliers (2-0) prevailed 25-18, 25-16 and 25-21. Maren Anderson added seven kills for Hollis/Brookline, which received six digs from Lauren Ingraham. Exeter fell to 1-1.
Bishop Guertin 3, Merrimack 0: In Nashua, Haley Smethurst had five kills, Anna Niezrecki had 13 digs and Sarah Hardy logged three aces for Merrimack.
