Wednesday’s NHIAA Division I softball game between Windham and Manchester Memorial was played between the Hedges. Dave Hedge is Windham’s head coach, and his daughter, Rachel Hedge-Dahmke, is in her second season at Memorial’s head coach.

Windham dominated this matchup as Jasmine Moskowitz and Makayla Panich each homered to help the Jaguars improve their record to 3-1 by posting a 12-0 victory in Manchester. Windham starting pitcher Abby Bedient went the distance in the circle. She held Memorial to one hit, struck out five and didn’t walk a batter. Makenna Gladysz had Memorial’s only hit, a single.

Pembroke 3, Stevens 2: In Claremont, Pembroke trailed 2-1 until Chloe Caragnan hit a two-run double with two outs in the top of the seventh inning. Caragnan also tossed a complete game. She limited Stevens to three hits and struck out seven. Shortstop Olivia McCarty had three hits for the Spartans. Caragnan and Kayla Paquin each collected two hits.

Winnacunnet 7, Concord 5: In Hampton, Autumn Nudd and Abigail Rochette combined for five hits, including three doubles, four runs scored and three RBIs for Concord (3-1). Winnacunnet (5-0) scored six unearned runs.

Alvirne 5, Bishop Guertin 4: In Hudson, Katie Nale allowed five hits and one walk and Torey Hart scored teammate Allie Higgins with a double in the fourth inning for Bishop Guertin of Nashua (0-4). Alvirne is 2-3.

Exeter 12, Goffstown 0: In Goffstown, Riley Griem earned the win in the circle, allowing four hits and striking out five over five innings. Sydney Johnson recorded three hits, three runs scored and two RBIs, Trinity Young had two hits and two RBIs and Sam Wiberg pitched two innings of scoreless relief for Exeter (3-1). Goffstown is 1-1.

St. Thomas 10, John Stark 9: In Dover, Madison Harris won it for St. Thomas (3-0) with a walk-off single. John Stark of Weare (0-2) scored a run in the sixth to break an 8-8 deadlock. Jill Cortez struck out eight in the circle and logged a team-high three hits for the Saints.

Campbell 3, Bishop Brady 1: In Concord, Maddie Davis pitched a three-hitter and struck out five to lift Campbell of Litchfield to 4-0. The Cougars logged six hits, including a triple from Abi Gray and Catherine Carignan’s pinch-hit double. Ami Rivera logged a single and a double for Bishop Brady (2-2).

Belmont 7, Gilford 6 (9 inn.): In Belmont, the Red Raiders (3-0) got the win on Julianna Estremera’s walk-off single. Gilford is 0-1.

Trinity 11, Hillsboro-Deering 4: In Manchester on Tuesday, Marie Hamill threw a three-hitter with 12 strikeouts. Josie Zelensky went 3-for-3, and Danielle Pascucci and Camryn Weston had two hits each for Trinity (1-2).

Baseball

Memorial 9, Windham 7: In Windham, Jack Fitzgerald had two extra-base hits and recorded the final out on the mound for Memorial (3-1), which has won three in a row. Windham (1-3) stranded runners on second and third in the seventh. Colin Brodeur and Ryan Cardow each had two hits for the Crusaders, who broke a 6-6 tie by scoring twice in the fifth. James Carpenter earned the win for pitching 2 2/3 innings of relief. Bryan Bjerke had two hits for the Jaguars.

Londonderry 15, Timberlane 6: In Plaistow, Londonderry (5-0) recorded 14 hits, including three each from Sean Cavenaugh and Reece Manor. Cavenaugh also tallied three runs scored and an RBI while Manor had four RBIs and a run scored. Lucas Harmon went 1-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored for Timberlane (1-4).

Nashua North 4, Salem 1: In Nashua, North scored the game’s final three runs in the third inning. Joe Berman earned the win, allowing one run on five hits an four walks alongside five strikeouts. Anthony Gallinaro logged two hits, a walk and two runs scored for the Titans (1-2). Trevor DeMinico went 2-for-4 with a run scored for Salem (0-2).

Kennett 10, Kingswood 0: In Wolfeboro, Nate Grames earned the win after allowing one hit over six innings, striking out six. Ethan Ouellette went 3-for-4 with three RBIs for Kennett of Conway (2-0). Kingswood is 0-2.

John Stark 6, St. Thomas 2: In Dover, Brett Patnode led John Stark of Weare, going 2-for-4 at the plate with two RBIs and a steal and pitching five innings. He allowed one run on four hits and striking out six. Jake Cole had an RBI double and Nathan Innerfield recorded his first varsity hit for the Generals (2-0). St. Thomas Aquinas is 1-2.

Bishop Brady 13, Campbell 3: In Concord, Brett McInerney went 2-for-3, including a triple, and an RBI while Matt Dion had a hit, an RBI and a run scored for Campbell of Litchfield (2-1). Bishop Brady (4-0) recorded 14 hits and drew eight walks. Nick Grimbilas earned the win, allowing one earned run on five hits alongside eight strikeouts.

Wilton-Lyndeborough 12, Derryfield 2: In Manchester, Derryfield pitching issued nine walks and the Cougars (0-2) committed four errors. Wilton-Lyndeborough scored four runs in each of the first two innings. Derryfield’s Colin McCaigue had two hits and scored twice. The Cougars also received two hits and an RBI from Kyle Goldberg.

Littleton 15, Lisbon 2: In Lisbon, Littleton (1-0) broke a 2-2 tie by scoring three runs in the fifth inning and added 10 more in the sixth. Zach Horne pitched two innings of scoreless relief to earn his first varsity win. Lisbon is 0-1.

Spaulding 6, Trinity 0: In Manchester, Wade Paquette tossed a complete game for the Red Raiders (2-2). Sophomore Joe Songen had a double and allowed one run in four innings for the Pioneers (0-4).

Pinkerton 4, Central 3 (9 inn.): In Derry, Brady Day hit a two-run double with two outs in the seventh inning to give the Astros (2-1) the walk-off victory. Asa Runge and Connor Jenkins scored on Day’s hit. Day had three hits and three RBIs in the game. Jake Pellerin and Jacob Privey each had two hit and an RBI for Central (1-3).

Exeter 3, Goffstown 0: In Exeter, Nolan Elmore had two hits for the Blue Hawks, including an RBI double. Will Soucy and Connor Hujsak had Goffstown’s only two hits. Hujsak took the loss for Goffstown giving up four hits and striking out 12 in five innings.

Hollis/Brookline 1, Pelham 0: In Hollis, Brandon Hsu held Pelham to three hits and struck out 10 in six innings to collect the win. The Cavaliers scored the game’s only run when Max Mello doubled in Jack Bergin in the fourth inning. Pelham’s Jarrod Liardo allowed three hits in six innings. Pelham senior Nick Milano got his first varsity hit.

Bishop Guertin 5, Alvirne 1: In Nashua, Brett Anderson struck out 12 in six innings and limited the Broncos to three hits. Anderson and Ryan Bue each had two hits for the Cardinals. Nick Jacques had two hits for Alvirne (2-2), which received an RBI triple from junior Alex Boulay.

Bedford 8, Dover 4: In Dover on Tuesday, the Bulldogs took the lead with a Trevor Anibal double and a two-run homer from Kyle Lavigne. Ryan Juliano and Avery Mosseau chipped in with two hits apiece. Blake Murray picked up his first varsity win, throwing 2 2/3 innings of relief.

Boys’ lacrosse

Oyster River 18, Pembroke 5: In Pembroke, Hayden Marshall recorded seven goals and five assists, freshman Marc Parsons tallied five goals and Nick Cornejo made 10 saves for Oyster River of Durham (2-2).

John Stark 13 Oyster River 4: In Weare, Kayden Easter scored five goals and Peyton Marden finished with three goals and an assist as John Stark improved to 2-1. Aiden Moser (two goals), Owen Jones (two) and Billy Finn (one) also scored for the Generals.

Trinity 11, Gilford 4: In Gilford, Dillon Brown had three goals and one assist, and Jimmy Kosoarski scored twice for the Pioneers (2-0). Trinity goalie Dylan Purdy made six saves.

Milford 21, Stevens 1: In Milford, Milford’s Corey Girouard led all scorers with five goals and one assist. Matt Hannon had three goals and two assists, and Riley O’Shaughnessy also scored three goals. Alex Karski, Anthony Viola, and Tyler Hamlin had two goals each. The Spartans improved to 1-2.

Girls’ lacrosse

Souhegan 17, Nashua North 2: In Amherst, O’Neill Galinson recorded a game-high six goals, Taylor Clark had three goals and three assists and Savannah Behn had three goals and an assist for Souhegan (3-0). The Sabers also received two goals from Avery Karavas and five saves from Alex LaBrosse. Julie Gagnon scored and assisted on Lily Brooks’ goal and Samantha Carito made six saves for Nashua North (0-5).Plymouth 8, Inter-Lakes/Moultonborough 7: In Meredith, Taylor Ambrose had a hat trick, Emily Marra and Reagan Buhrman both scored twice and Jess Sullivan made 14 saves for Inter-Lakes/Moultonborugh (0-3). Plymouth improved to 1-3.

Derryfield 16, Milford 2: In Manchester, Olivia Strong registered nine goals and three assists while Lucy Licata added three of each for Derryfield (2-0). Milford (1-1) scored both its goals in the second half.
