Hannah McCarthy of Bedford scored four goals and notched two assists as New Hampshire topped Vermont 23-8 in the Hanover Lions Byrne Cup Twin-State All-Star Girls' Lacrosse game Saturday in Hanover.

The Vermont boys beat New Hampshire 21-5 in their matchup.

Lyndon Flanagan of Hopkinton had three goals and three assists, Amelia Bassett of Hopkinton had three goals and two assists, Sydney Lynch of Bedford had three goals and an assist, and Taylor Clark of Souhegan of Amherst scored three goals for the Granite State.

Sam Porter of John Stark of Weare made two saves and Bella Beaton of Merrimack made nine.

In the boys' matchup, Jakob Steele of Laconia led the Granite State with two goals. Brendan Pearl of Concord had a goal and an assist, and Nicholas Mason of Goffstown and Alexander Koutsos of Bishop Guertin of Nashua scored goals.
