New Hampshire’s Mya Dube and Caroline Fischer finished 1-2 in the 1,600 meters Saturday at the 74th New England Interscholastic Track and Field Championship Meet at Thornton Academy in Saco, Maine.
Dube, a junior from Kearsarge Regional in North Sutton, won the race with a time of 4 minutes, 55.03 seconds. Fischer, a junior from Bishop Guertin in Nashua, was second in 4:56.93.
Concord’s Grace Devanny was second in the 400-meter dash, finishing in 56.29 seconds.
Nashua North’s Victoria Conrad was second in the shot put with a throw of 41 feet, 6 inches. Mady Buchalski of St. Thomas Aquinas in Dover was fifth with a 40-foot, 2.5-inch effort.
The Oyster River of Durham 4-by-100-meter team of Jennifer Nadig, Amelia Concannon, Laurel Gordon and Devan McClain took third with a time of 49.20 seconds.
Skyler Bomba of Alvirne in Hudson was fifth in the pole vault with an effort of 10 feet, 9 inches.
Adam Spencer of Pinkerton of Derry was fourth in the 110-meter hurdles with a 14.8-second finish, and fourth in the 300-meter hurdles with a 39.4-second effort.
Keene’s 4x800 relay team of Nico Ramirez, Sergio Santini, Torin Kindopp and Aidan Kindopp took fifth in that event, finishing in 7:51.57.
Jeffrey Allen of Campbell in Litchfield was fifth in the 1,600 meters with a time of 4:20.36.
Jack Parker of White Mountains in Whitefield tied for fifth in the high jump with an effort of 6 feet, 3 inches.
