Jerry Kabba’s 16-yard TD run with two minutes left was the go-ahead score in Manchester West’s come-from-behind 26-22 win over Pembroke in Division II football on Friday night.
Jamal Tyler had 14 carries for 152 yards, including a 45-yard TD run for West, which trailed 22-12 entering the fourth quarter. The Blue Knights improved to 2-1 with the Homecoming win.
Devon Harding had a 5-yard and Brandon Loyd had a 45-yard TD run for West. Defensively Loyd had seven tackles and Kabba had five. Pembroke is 0-3.
Londonderry 56, Timberlane 7: In Londonderry, Jake McEachern threw two touchdown passes and ran for another, and Dylan McEachern tossed one and ran for one in the Lancers’ big win.
Jake McEachern ran one in from 43 yards and had scoring strikes of 39 yards to Alex Tsetsilas and 25 yards to Cole Keegan. Dylan McEachern had a 9-yard run and a 25-yard pass to Matt Jones.
Jeff Wiedenfeld had a 23-yard TD run as part of his 132-yard night on nine carries. Aiden Washington ran one in from 24 yards out. In all, Londonderry (3-0) outgained the Owls 458-99.
Timberlane’s lone bright spot came on Cameron Lovett’s 85-yard kickoff return for a touchdown in the first quarter. That made the score 7-7. The Owls’ leading rusher was Daniel Post, who gained 27 yards on five carries. Jared Morrison completed 6 of 15 passes for 64 yards. The Owls are 0-3.
Nashua South 53, Keene 34: In Nashua, Chris Keefe took the opening kickoff 72 yards for a touchdown to set the tone for the Panthers.
Josh Compoh had TD runs of 13, 3 and 16 yards, and Tyler Armeen scored from 30 and 7 yards out for South (2-1). Joe Buturla recovered a fumble on defense, then rumbled 20 yards for a TD on the next offensive play, and Zackary Hureau had a 7-yard TD run.
Keene’s Tucker Brown ran for three scores and threw for two. He scored from 28, 1 and 1 yard out, and hit Clint Maleski for an 18-yard TD and Jonas French for a 38-yard score. The Blackbirds are 0-3.
Spaulding 27, Winnacunnet 14: In Rochester, Logan Gadbois threw two touchdown passes to Ryan Lane and ran for another as the Red Raiders got their first win of the season.
Gabdois connected with Lane for scores of 22 and 9 yards, and he sneaked one in from a yard out. Lane had a 42-yard scoring run for Spaulding, which gained 269 yards on the ground led by Jacob King with 12 carries for 73 yards and Jerick Levesque with 19 carries and 57 yards. Gadbois was 4-for-7 for 58 yards. Lane had three catches for 41 yards. The Raiders also got a safety on a blocked punt with Chandler Sutton making the tackle in the end zone.
Winnacunet (0-3) got an 8-yard scoring pass from Elliott Beals to Benjamin Chase, and a 1-yard run from Beals. Richard Camarato led the Warriors with eight carries for 38 yards as Spaulding led the visitors to 78 yards on the ground. Beals was 9-for-20 for 100 passing yards.
Nashua North 41, Dover 6: In Dover, the Titans’ Curtis Harris rushed for more than 200 yards and three touchdowns as North improved to 3-0. Xavier Provost rushed for two scores and Brian Mwangi added a TD. Adrian Cruz had an interception on defense. The Green Wave are 1-2.
Lebanon 47, Monadnock 28: In East Swanzey, Raiders quarterback John Willeman threw three touchdown passes and ran for one in a win over the defending Division III champs.
Willeman hit Jackson Stone for scores of 59 and 15 yards, and Calvin Bates for 27. He also ran one in from a yard out. Wade Rainey scored from 15 yards out and Philip Melish from 45 for Lebanon (3-0).
Lincoln Blodgett scored all four Monadnock (2-1) touchdowns from on runs of 7, 6, 2 and 1 yards.
