Cam Barrett scored with 2:26 to play as Campbell of Litchfield handed Lebanon its first loss of the season, 22-17, on Friday night in Lebanon. Both teams end the regular season 8-1 and will host a playoff game next weekend.

Lebanon twice sent a snap over the punter’s head, and both were costly. With 3:28 to go, Campbell took over on the Lebanon 5 after a failed snap. Barrett rumbled in from 3 yards with 2:26 to play for the winning score.

Lebanon got two touchdown passes, one for 62 yards, from John Wellerman to Wade Rainey and a Rainey 25-yard field goal to take a 17-16 lead in the fourth quarter.

Campbell scored on a Carter Vedrani to Connor Sweeney 25-yard pass, a Barrett 34-yard run, and a safety when a Lebanon snap on a punt went through the end zone.

Campbell won largely without star running back Keegan Mills, who played the first quarter and then spent the rest of the game on the sidelines in street clothes.

Nashua North 7, Portsmouth/Oyster River 0: In Portsmouth, with star Curtis Harris on the sideline, the Titans completed a 9-0 season with the win. Jayden Espinal found Sam Nicholls for a 23-yard touchdown pass in the third quarter for the only points.

Harris was hurt in last week’s win over Merrimack. His status for next weekend’s playoff opener is unknown.

Goffstown 35, Timberlane 21: In Goffstown, Peyton Strickland scored four touchdowns, catching three TD passes from quarterback Jarrett Henault and running for another score. Brad Baxter scored a defensive TD for the Grizzlies, who finished 7-2 as North Conference champions.

Exeter 30, Nashua South 14: In Nashua, four different Blue Hawks scored rushing touchdowns as Exeter finished its regular season 8-1 and East Conference champions.

Ryan Grijalva scored from a yard out, Spencer Clark had a 2-yard run, Uly Ellis had a 9-yard run and Danny Doris scored from 3 yards out. South finished 6-3 and qualified for the playoffs from the West Conference.

Pelham 42, Manchester West 27: In Manchester, Ian Hoey threw a touchdown pass and ran for two more as the Pythons (7-2) look forward to next week’s Division II playoffs.

Pelham led 42-6 early in the fourth as Hoey connected with Colby Travis for 31 yards, Matt Muise scored from a yard out and Hoey had a 6-yard scoring run to take a 21-0 lead at half.

Hoey ran one in from 4 yards, Charlie Katin had a 13-yard TD run, and Jake Cawthorn returned a fumble 20 yards. Muise led Pelham’s attack with 73 yards on 15 carries.

Brandon Loyd reeled off TD runs of 66 and 59 yards in the fourth quarter for West (3-6). Xavier Burpee had a 4-yard scoring run and Sean Vincent rumbled home from 28 yards out. Loyd gained 158 yards on nine carries on the evening. He also had 16 tackles on defense.

Hillsboro-Deering/Hopkinton 27, Stevens 6: In Claremont, Colby Quiet scored three touchdowns to close out his sensational senior season for the Redhawks, who finished 6-3. The Cardinals finish at5-4.
