Jack Ecklund scored in the 100th minute — the last minute of double overtime — to give Trinity a 2-1 victory over Hopkinton in Division III boys’ soccer on Tuesday.

The Pioneers improved to 3-0.

Trinity freshman Quinn Booth got the scoring started in the 22nd minute with his first career goal and after Hopkinton’s Derek West found the back of the net in the 31st minute, the two sides entered the halftime break all square at one.

Both goalies were solid with Nick Stilkey saving six shots for Trinity and Aidan Burns stopping the same for the Hawks (2-1).

Manchester Central 3, Nashua South 1: In Nashua, Sam Latona, Sam Assantha (penalty kick) and Angel Mora all scored for Central (3-0) in the first half.

Will Scala and Raja Hantangimana both tallied an assist and Alex Walker made four saves for the Little Green.

Daniel Miranda scored the lone goal for South (2-1) in the first half.

Winnacunnet 4, Pinkerton 0: In Hampton, Chaz Ziolkowski scored twice and assisted on tallies by Dan Ciofili and Marcos Chanlatte for the Warriors (2-1). Nathan Todaro made three saves to earn the shutout. Pinkerton Academy of Derry is 0-2-1.

Alvirne 1, Londonderry 0: In Londonderry, Alvirne of Hudson scored the game’s lone goal in the 43rd minute to improve to 3-0. The Lancers (1-2) had an 18-4 shots advantage. Alex Hufford made six saves for Londonderry.

Coe-Brown 2, Souhegan 0: In Amherst, Coe-Brown Northwood Academy scored once in each half to improve to 2-2. Bears goalkeeper Hogan Cain made six saves. Jake Morrisette made nine stops for Souhegan (0-4).

Girls’ soccer

Merrimack 4, Keene 0: In Merrimack, Abby Morgan led the way with two goals for the Tomahawks (1-2). Emma Valluzzi and Siobhan McMakin added a goal each while Bella Saxon and Amaya Blake were each credited with an assist. Keene is 0-3.

Exeter 3, Windham 1: In Windham, Sabrina Sherman scored twice, Eva Hays also tallied a goal and Megan Olszewski made six saves for Exeter (2-0).

Reagan Murray scored in the 44th minute and Jess Thibodeau made seven saves for Windham (2-1).

Field hockey

Gilford 8, Laconia 0: In Gilford, five girls scored for the Eagles with Shea Brown’s three pacing the Eagles (2-1). Freshman Lexi Shute scored her first career varsity goal and finished with two. Taryn Fountain, Laurel Gingrich and Emily O’Connor rounded out the scoring for Gilford. Laconia is 1-1.

Kennett 1, Portsmouth 0: In Portsmouth, Maddie Stewart was assisted by Katherine Hawkes for the game’s lone goal. Hannah Frittenburg had two saves for Kennett (3-0). Portsmouth is 0-2.

Girls’ Volleyball

Nashua South 3, Merrimack 0: In Nashua, South swept Merrimack with game wins of 25-13, 25-18 and 26-24. Anna Niezrecki had eight digs and three kills for Merrimack while Lindsey Hui added 16 digs. South is 2-0, while Merrimack is 0-2.
