Noah LaBossiere lifted his Salem High hockey team back into the win column in a 3-2 win over Londonderry at the Salem Icenter. LaBossiere broke a 2-2 stalemate with the game-winning goal two minutes into the third period.
Also posting goals for Salem (3-4), which overcame two deficits before taking the win, were Ryan Allard and Anthony Salvetti. Londonderry, which got its goals from Cole Ferguson and Jack Rheault, slipped to 2-4-1.
Pinkerton 8, Central-West 0: At JFK Coliseum in Manchester, Jake Masterson and Gennaro Marra scored two goals each for unbeaten Pinkerton (7-0). Joseph Marra, David Tewksbury, David LaPorte and Patrick Last also scored for the Astros. Ethan Livingston notched two assists. Dakota Robinson stopped five shots. Central-West is 0-6.
St. Thomas Aquinas 5, Somersworth-Coe-Brown 1: In Dover, three unanswered goals in the third period added cushion to the Saints’ win. Will MacLean paced St. Thomas (5-1) with two goals. Matthis Savard, Chase Gagnon and Matt Barnes each added a tally for the Saints. The Bearcats (2-3-1) had Jake Pelletier score lone goal.
Trinity 4, Bow 0: In Concord, the Pioneers extended their win streak to three behind two goals and an assist from Declan Clougherty. Jimmy Kosiarski and Mark L’Heureux had the other Trinity goals while goalie Ryan Brewitt recorded the shutout. Jason Hue made 39 saves in goal for Bow (0-6-1).
Exeter 7, Nashua North/Souhegan 1: In Nashua, Brendan Doyle’s hat trick helped the Blue Hawks improve to 3-3-1 on the season. John Natake had the only goal for North/Souhegan (2-5), now losers of three straight.
Dover 5, Goffstown 2: In Dover, the Green Wave (6-0) spouted off for three unanswered goals in the third period to break a 2-2 tie. Asa Forbes ad the winner for Dover while Ollia Stevens and Trevor Gnall had the other third-period strikes. Griffin Cook scored both goals for Goffstown (5-1-1).
Sanborn 56, Spaulding 41: In Kingston, Ellen McGough hit five 3-pointers on the way to a team-high 20 points for the Indians (3-4). Grace Merry-Carrerio totaled 12 points for Sanborn while her older sister, Sophie, added 11. Spaulding (2-3), which was outscored 31-12 in the first half, got 12 points from Brooke Clooney.
