The Londonderry High School wrestling team finished fifth in the 15-team field at the Devin Ness Tournament in Easton, Mass., on Saturday.

The Lancers had seven competitors place among the top five in their respective weight classes. Ben Psaledas went 3-1 to finish second in the 195-pound class while teammate Brandon Drake went 2-1 on his way to a second-place finish in the 132-pound class. Josh Bean (182) and Aiden O'Loughlin (126) both went 4-1 en route to third-place finishes in their class. Nicholas Walter took third in the 220-pound class after going 3-1 in the tournament. Blaine Hopkins earned fourth place in the 285-pound class after going 2-2 in the the tournament. Johhny McKinnon took fifth in the 152-pound class, finishing with a 3-2 record.

Boys' basketball

Epping 60, Groveton 46: Hunter Bullock's triple double of 18 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists led in the opening night of Division IV boys' basketball Friday. Shawn Hill made four 3-point field goals as part of his 14 points.

Littleton 57, Newmarket 49: In Littleton, Jason Brammer's 19 points led the Crusaders' boys' basketball team to a win in a season opener. Parker Briggs scored 13 and Danny Kubkowski added 11 for Littleton. Will Chase led the Mules with 13.
