Alyssa Hanel and Colby Guinta both had double-digit scoring outputs to lead the Trinity of Manchester girls’ basketball team to its first win of the season on Tuesday, defeating Keene, 47-39, at home.

Hanel led the Pioneers (1-6) in scoring with 17 points while Guinta added 10 of her own. Niyadeng Tour logged eight points for Trinity.

Keene is also 1-6.

Pinkerton 62, Winnacunnet 28: In Hampton, Brooke Kane scored a game-high 22 points to lead Pinkerton Academy of Derry to 6-0 on the season. The Astros also received 14 points from Madison Mahoney and seven more from Alli Ingalls. Lauren Ruffin logged a team-high nine points for Winnacunnet (0-7).

Goffstown 59, Concord 44: In Goffstown, Kelly Walsh logged a game-high 23 points while Sophia Piriz had 14 points for the Grizzlies (7-0). Goffstown also received eight points from Livi Brannen. Elizabeth Blinn logged 16 points and 13 rebounds while Caroline Clark had nine points for Concord (1-6).

Londonderry 54, Nashua North 33: In Nashua, Courtney Shay registered 21 points, five rebounds and three steals and Ashley Rourke added seven points and five rebounds for Londonderry (2-3). The Lancers held North (1-5) to eight points or fewer in each of the first three quarters.

Windham 60, Merrimack 54: In Merrimack, Abby Husson and Sam Adamson both scored a game-high 16 points while Sarah Dempsey added 14 for Windham (5-2). Theresa Twardosky recorded a team-high 14 points for Merrimack (4-3). The Tomahawks led, 19-15, after the first quarter but Windham held them to 10 points over the next two frames.

Pelham 56, Manchester West 31: In Manchester, Olivia Gagnon scored a game-high 26 points for Pelham (4-4). Tallie Carney added nine points for the Pythons, who held West (0-7) to five points in each of the first two quarters.

Merrimack Valley 35, Bow 33: In Penacook, Taylor Burnham recorded a team-high 15 points alongside four steals and two assists while Lauren Goyette logged eight points for Bow (2-5). Merrimack Valley improved to 5-3.

ConVal 57, Hollis/Brookline 44: In Hollis, Lindsey Carey led all scorers with 29 points while Katie Carey logged 12 points for ConVal of Peterborough (5-1). Emma Hixson added 10 points for the Cougars.

Hollis/Brookline is 5-2.

Derryfield 60, Wilton-Lyndeborough 37: In Manchester, Shawna Lemeries led the Cougars (6-2) with 17 points while teammate Sydney Socha added 12 more. Brooke Lane tallied a game-high 18 points for Wilton-Lyndeborough (2-7).

Boys’ basketball

Portsmouth 80, Manchester Memorial 36: In Portsmouth, Alex Tavares scored 30 points for the Clippers (3-2), 17 of which came in the second half. Jack Fitzgerald had a team-high 17 points and drained five 3-pointers for Memorial (0-5).

Winnacunnet 54, Pinkerton 31: In Derry, Ben Allen scored a game-high 19 points and James O’Hara logged 11 for Winnacunnet of Hampton (3-0). Pinkerton is 0-5.

Derryfield 43, Wilton-Lyndeborough 32: In Wilton, the Cougars upended the Warriors with a 27-12 second half. Max Byron led all Derryfield and all scorers with 19 points. Derryfield (4-2) also got 11 points from Colin McCaigue while Max Karpawich scored 10 points to go with 18 boards. Wilton-Lyndeborough (1-7) got seven points each from Jack Schwab and Kyler Tremblay. 

Trinity 53, Keene 40: In Keene, the Pioneers led, 33-32, after three quarters and clinched the win in the fourth. Foster Stacey scored a game-high 20 points while Athiei Bol had 16 points for Trinity of Manchester (2-2). Noah Timmer logged eight points for Keene (3-1).

Spaulding 46, Londonderry 45: In Londonderry, the Lancers (3-2) missed a shot to win at the buzzer after Arie Breakfield put the Red Raiders (3-1) up a point with his putback with 4.1 seconds left. Breakfield scored 20 for the Red Raiders while Keagan Calero tossed in 18. Cole Keegan scored 17 for Londonderry and Ethan May added 15.

Bishop Guertin 52, Concord 46: In Concord, Bishop Guertin of Nashua improved to 1-3 behind 12 points from Kyle Baker and 11 from Joey DaSilva. Jon Shamash logged 13 points and 10 rebounds for Concord (2-2).

Campbell 86, Hillsboro-Deering 27: In Litchfield, the Cougars led, 54-16, at halftime. Ethan Burns tallied 17 points, Keegan Mills logged 13 and Jonah Crema and Matt Dion each recorded 10 for Campbell (5-0). Hillsboro-Deering is 2-4.

Conant 61, Mascenic 45: In Jaffrey, Jake Drew led Conant (5-1) with 16 points while teammates Gavin Motuzas and Anthony Gauthier each added 13 points. Mascenic of New Ipswich is 3-2.

Merrimack Valley 46, Bow 39: On Monday in Bow, Kyle Dube led Merrimack Valley of Penacook with 22 points and five blocks.Jarred Sylvester added 10 points for the Pride (5-1). Bow is 0-5.

Boys’ hockey

Merrimack 4, Alvirne/Milford 2: In Nashua, Drew Lemire scored twice while Dylan Sadowski and Andrew Frothingham also scored for Merrimack (2-3-1). Anthony Viola scored both goals for Alvirne/Milford (3-2-1) in the third period.

Girls’ hockey

Bishop Guertin 5, St. Thomas/Winnacunnet 4: In Dover, Julie McLaughlin and Lindsay Hult both scored twice and Emma Wallat also scored for Bishop Guertin of Nashua (3-5).

Brileigh Penniman scored twice, Molly Connor logged three assists and Hilda Barrioz made 36 saves for St. Thomas/Winnacunnet (2-3).
