Gob Gob scored a season-high 30 points, leading the Manchester West boys' basketball team past Kennett 87-72 on Thursday in Conway.
The win was the first for the Blue Knights in six Division II games. They had lost three of their last four games by a combined five points.
Josh Rose added 18 points -- a career high -- Daniel Jenkins-Mitchell scored 19 and Eian Kagauthi had 16 for West.
Kennett dropped to 3-3.
Merrimack Valley 52, Sanborn 44: In Penacook, Kyle Dube had a double-double with 21 points and 10 rebounds, leading MV past Sanborn. Griff Wheeler, a sophomore, added 20 points for the Pride, who improved to 6-1 in Division II. Sanborn is 1-6.
Hopkinton 43, Conant 40: In a battle of Division III contenders, the host Hawks improved to 7-0. Conant is 5-2.
Pelham 42, Pembroke 30: Olivia Gagnon poured in 20 points, leading Pelham past host Pembroke 42-30 on Thursday.
Abbey Schwab added 10 points for the Pythons, who improved to 5-4. Pembroke is 2-6.
