Five players scored and goalie Dakota Robinson made 23 saves to lead the Pinkerton Academy boys’ hockey team to a 5-1 victory over Exeter on Wednesday at The Rinks at Exeter.

The Astros improved to 9-1 in anticipation of their Division I showdown on Saturday afternoon against 8-0-1 Bedford at Sullivan Arena in Goffstown.

Mason Drouin, Genarro Marra, Ethan Burgess, Brendan Banks and Ethan Livingston scored for Pinkerton. Brandon Doyle scored Exeter’s goal, and Jude Rogles made 25 stops for the Blue Hawks (5-4-1).

Kennett 7, Pembroke/Campbell 0: In Conway, Miles Woodbury scored twice and Bryson Wrobleski was in net for the shutout to help Kennett (4-7) collect the Division III victory. Pembroke/Campbell (4-5) trailed 4-0 after one period.

Oyster River 6, Somersworth/Coe-Brown 3: In Durham, Shane O’Connell scored twice to help Oyster River (4-3-1) extend its winning streak to four games.

Jack Poitras, Liam Spurling, Deelan Daubney and Max Carpenter also scored for the Bobcats. Gage Gagne, Cam Frank and Daniel Strum collected the Somersworth/Coe-Brown (2-5-1) goals.

Merrimack 1, Spaulding 0: In Manchester, Matt Warrington collected the game’s only goal to lead the Tomahawks (5-4-1) to victory at West Side Arena. The loss dropped Spaulding to 0-10.

Monadnock/Fall Mountain 5, ConVal/Conant 0: In Winchendon, Mass., Chris Boucher scored the 48th and 49th goals of his high school career and Isaac Jasinski earned the shutout in net.

Girls’ hockey

Exeter 5, Concord 2: In Concord, Carissa Towlson had a hat trick and an assist, and Dakota Markey and Katie Kopecky (power play) also scored for Exeter (6-3-1).

Concord (10-1) received power-play goals from Kaitlyn McKinnon and Joanna Dustin over the final 3:41 of the contest.

Izzy Day made 31 saves for the Blue Hawks. Abby Corbett made 24 stops for Concord

Boys’ basketball

Inter-Lakes 62, Laconia 45: In Meredith, Eli Swanson scored 28 points, including the 1,000th point of his high school career, as Inter-Lakes (5-4) stretched its Division III winning streak to five games. Laconia fell to 2-6 in Division II.

Girls’ basketball

Lebanon 43, John Stark 36: In Weare, Rebecca Wright scored 13 points and Anna Wolke finished with 12 to help Lebanon remain unbeaten (10-0). Autumn Nelson led John Stark (8-3) with 11.

Bishop Brady 74, Sanborn 67: In Kingston, Sanborn’s Ellen McGough tossed in a team-high 20 points, including three 3-pointers, but it wasn’t enough to defeat the Green Giants. Sophie Merry-Carreiro added 14 for the Indians.
