Dimitri Kakouris was just the second goalkeeper to blank the Hanover High boys’ soccer team this season, making eight saves on Tuesday as Timberlane of Plaistow prevailed 2-0. The Owls improved to 7-2-2.

The host Marauders put themselves in an early hole thanks to an own goal scored by one of their defenders, who was trying to head a back pass out of the box. Matthew Barney scored to put the game away in the 53rd minute.

Hanover is 9-2.

Trinity 10, Fall Mountain 0: In Manchester, seven players scored for Trinity (10-1). Cadin Booth, Tony Mihaly and Marc L’Hereuex had two each while Quinn Booth, Alex Walker, Ryan Stultz and Conor Bosworth added one apiece. Fall Mountain is 5-7.

St. Thomas Aquinas 6, Somersworth 0: In Dover, Chase Gagnon and Connor Welts combined to shut out the Hilltoppers (0-12). Gagnon and Welts also scored a goal each during their time playing the field, while Ben Stonis, Jackson Maness, Josh Arsenault and Aaron Broom also scored. STA is 3-6-1.

Hopkinton 0, Gilford 0 (OT): In Gilford, the Hawks and Eagles traded blows before settling on a scoreless draw. Gilford seemed to have momentum in the first half, but it was Hopkinton that threatened in the second. Overtime belonged to the Hawks, but Haven Montoya made one of his seven stops to keep it tied for Gilford (10-1-1). Aidan Burns saved five for Hopkinton (8-2-1).

Londonderry 2, Salem 2: In Salem, Brady Hanley opened the scoring on a penalty kick in the sixth minute for Londonderry (3-4-3). Salem scored in the 57th minute to tie it up and was answered seven minutes later by Bisan Gurung. Salem knotted things in the 78th minute. Salem is 4-4-1.

Winnacunnet 3, Merrimack 0: In Merrimack, the Warriors scored all of their goals in the second half. Marcos Chanlatte was credited with two of them, scoring once on a penalty kick and again on a pass from Abel Ravencraft. Chanlatte assisted on a Chaz Ziolkowski scored as well. Nathan Todoro had 11 saves for Winnacunnet (6-4-1). Merrimack is 5-6.

Girls’ soccer

Alvirne 3, Keene 0: In Hudson, Paige and Rose Boudreau each scored for the Broncos (5-5). Rose assisted on Paige’s goal. Ashley Lecomte also found the back of the net for Alvirne. Keene is 0-10.

Oyster River 2, ConVal 1: In Durham, Charlotte Cousins scored both goals for the Bobcats (5-5-1). ConVal is 6-5.

Field Hockey

Kennett 4, Hollis/Brookline 0: In Hollis, Natalie Shaw scored her 16th goal of the season and was one of four players to score for Kennett (9-1). Veronica Carboni scored her first-career varsity goal the Eagles. Hannah Frittenburg had one save in the shutout.


Winnisquam 3, Campbell 0: In Litchfield, Winnisquam won 25-16, 25-20 and 25-23. Mallory Reczko had 10 kills and two blocks for Campbell (6-4). Jordan Kanaley contributed 25 assists, six digs and a block. Lolly Brown had three aces, two kills and three digs. Winnisquam is 9-2.
