Bill Raycraft, the only athletics director in Windham High School's 10-year history, is stepping down at the end of the school year.

Raycraft, who is also departing his role as head football coach, said in a letter that "it has become clear that the expectations for this job have changed to the point where I cannot perform the functions of the job to my standards of excellence."

Raycraft said that he submitted his resignation letter last month but "it has taken time and many conversations to process and get to this point to announce it publicly."
