A four-goal second period, including two goals in eight seconds, lifted the Manchester Monarchs to a 4-3 win over the Florida Everblades on Saturday night in ECHL play in Estero, Fla.
Daniil Miromanov, Nic Pierog, Drake Rymsha and Tony Camaranesi struck in an 8½-minute span for Manchester.
After goals by Joe Cox and Patrick Bajkov staked Florida to a 2-0 lead after one, the Monarchs came alive on Miromanov's goal at 11:33 of the second. Cory Ward and Jack Nevins assisted.
Pierog's goal, at 16:24, came on assist from Austin Block and Rymsha. Rymsha scored eight seconds later, at 16:32, to put Manchester in the lead. Travis Walsh and Spencer Watson had assists.
Manchester completed its dominated fame on Camaranesi's goal with 5 seconds to go. Jack Nevins and David Kolomatis assisted on the power-play tally.
John McCarron got one back for Florida at 3:04 of the third but Cole Kehler (41 saves) and the defense made the one-goal lead stand.
Manchester (27-23-1-1) is in third place in the North Division with 56 points. The Monarchs are in Orlando today for a 3 p.m. faceoff with the Solar Bears.
