Big weekend

The Manchester Monarchs play three home games this weekend, starting tonight at 7 against Greenville. The homestand continues Saturday night at 6 p.m. against Cincinnati and concludes on Sunday at 3 p.m. against Greenville.

Saturday night will be the annual Pink in the Rink game, with the Monarchs players wearing specially designed pink game sweaters that will be raffled off to help support Catholic Medical Center’s Breast Care Center.

The Monarchs are in a battle for a playoff spot in the ECHL’s tightly packed North Division of the Eastern Conference. Manchester has 50 points heading into the weekend, tied for third with Brampton and Reading. The top four teams in the division make the playoffs.
