MANCHESTER — Tony Cameranesi scored two goals to help the Manchester Monarchs win their third straight, 5-2 over the Worcester Railers on Sunday at the SNHU Arena.

The goals were Cameranesi’s 11th and 12th goals of the season. The first one gave Manchester at 2-1 lead at 8:06 of the first period on a wrister over the blocker of Worcester goalie Mitch Gillam, a former Cornell star.

ECHL All-Star David Kolomatis expanded Manchester’s lead to 3-1 at 1:21 of the second period. Cameranesi made it 4-1 at 12:05 of the second period, taking a pass from Spencer Watson and shooting one home. Sam Kurker and Joe Sullivan also scored for Manchester. Worcester’s Nick Sorkin, a UNH product, scored the game’s first goal in the first period.

Manchester’s Cole Kehler made 33 saves.

Manchester stays at home on Wednesday to face Adirondack at 7 p.m.
