The New England Patriots looked to shore up their stable of pass catchers Thursday night when they drafted Arizona State wide receiver N'Keal Harry with the 32nd pick in the NFL Draft.
Selecting last in the first round, the Super Bowl champions selected the 6-foot-2, 228-pound receiver who caught 73 passes for 1,088 yards and 10 touchdowns last season. Over three years, he caught 213 passes for 2,889 yards and 25 TDs. He also returned punts, averaging 16.9 yards per return and a touchdown last season.
Harry is the first wide receiver the Patriots have picked in the first round in Bill Belichick's 20 years as head coach.
The second and third rounds of the draft are Friday. The fourth through seventh rounds are Saturday.
