NFL: Cleveland Browns at New England Patriots

Patriots quarterback Mac Jones walks onto the field before the Browns game at Gillette Stadium on Nov. 14.

The Patriots and Colts will kick off their Week 15 matchup on Saturday, Dec. 18, at 8:20 p.m. in Indianapolis, the league announced Tuesday.

The game will be broadcast locally on Channel 4 in Boston and nationally on the NFL Network.

Kickoff had previously been unscheduled, allowing the league to flex its best matchup into the Saturday night slot after the end of the college football season.

The Pats (7-4) will be coming off their bye week for a critical game that should carry AFC playoff implications. The Colts (6-5) have won three straight, including a 41-15 upset at Buffalo last weekend.

Before traveling to Indianapolis, the Patriots will host the AFC South-leading Titans on Sunday and visit the Bills for a Monday night showdown on Dec. 6.
