Northeastern University’s Brandon Dufault of Windham has signed a deal with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim after being selected 471st overall in the 16th round of the 2021 MLB Draft.
The right-handed pitcher was a frequent contributor out of the Huskies’ bullpen during his career.
“I’m very excited for Brandon to get this opportunity,” said Northeastern head coach Mike Glavine. “He’s worked very hard, been a great student-athlete here and finishes his career with a CAA championship. I’m looking forward to watching his professional career.”
“It’s a dream come true and it’s something I’ve been working for and looking forward to since I was a kid,” Dufault said.
