The New Hampshire Union Leader is proud to present the NH State Spelling Bee. Nearly 200 top spellers compete in the state competition with the winner moving on to the Scripps National Spelling Bee. The Spelling Bee Final will be on Saturday, March 25, 2023.
Nominations for the 2023 class of 40 Under Forty is now open. The 40 Under Forty celebration will be held March 8, 2023.
Each year, the New Hampshire Union Leader honors the year’s Athlete of the Month Award recipients as well as the coaches, officials and volunteers who make amateur sports in New Hampshire possible. This year's event will be held on February 5th, 2023, at Manchester Country Club in Bedford.
Heroes don’t come along every day. But when the moment arrives when split-second decision making and instinct take over, it’s nice to know that there are people who will rise to the occasion. The 2022 Heroes event will be held at the State House on May 24th from 3pm-4pm to honor the heroes of 2021.
The Silver Linings: Senior Healthy Living Expo provides a face-to-face forum for the public to hear directly from experts, advocates and care providers. The Senior Healthy Living Expo will take place in Manchester, New Hampshire on October 14, 2023, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event will be held at Manchester Community College.
