Oscar winner and Durham native Matt Renner will join us in Concord for a conversation about the Oscar winning documentary Free Solo and his career path that took him from New Hampshire to National Geographic. Renner got his start working his way up through the ranks of the Deadliest Catch and has traveled extensively throughout the world.
Free Solo depicted professional rock climber Alex Honnold’s journey to conquer the first free solo climb of the infamous El Capitan at Yosemite National Park. After the conversation with Matt, there will be a screening of Free Solo.
